Things are a bit blurry for me as well, but...I believe we had meant to find a place to stay together. While we searched for a way back to our worlds.

Aye, I think I remember that. [He's pretty sure about that, anyway.] I was so certain of that, wasn't I? [He sounds a little disbelieving, now. Funny how things seem simple enough when you're only six.

There's a pause, during which he glances aside, as if remembering something, then looks back at the screen.] You had a dragon, though, I remember that.

Aithusa. [This time, Merlin smiles.]

I still have her, actually. Did you want to see her?

[Give him a moment, he's considering. On one hand, dragons are dangerous, that much everyone knows from history. On the other hand, direwolves are dangerous as well, and he walks around with one trailing behind him all the time. Besides. He's never going to get this opportunity again.]

If you'll have me. Do you keep her in your room? [Because that's where he keeps Grey Wind, for the lack of kennels.]

Sort of. She likes to accompany me when I'm around the city sometimes.

[Merlin's thinking along the same lines as Robb, because he says while smiling: ]

You could bring your wolf, too. Come to think of it, we haven't really met up just for the sake of it, have we? It's always been for some project, like the Guard.

Grey Wind does the same thing often enough, he'll come along with me. [And he'll behave too.]

No, we haven't. [He's beginning to see the bright side to that brief second childhood, and grins a little at Merlin.] Mayhaps we should remedy that soon. Where do you want to meet?

The park? There's plenty of space for Aithusa and Grey Wind to roam, and it's more peaceful than other parts of the city.

[More like home, essentially. The recent curse had brought a bout of homesickness that Merlin hadn't anticipated.]

[There's a bitter ache that comes with the homesickness, for Robb. He doesn't have a home to go back to--he's dead, and Winterfell is a burned and blackened shell. He hides that ache well enough, though, and gives a nod in reply.]

I'll meet you there, then. When should I expect to see you?

How about in half an hour? I'm just about done here at the hospital.
